Why is the italic font of this typeface slanted at 9 degree? I feel that it's too upright as many italic monospace fonts slant more such as:
- Italic fonts of Cascadia Code/Mono slants at 10 degrees
- Italic fonts of Monaspace typefaces and Liberation typefaces slant at 11 degrees
- Italic fonts of Geist typefaces, Atkinson Hyperlegible (both Mono and Next) and Red Hat Mono slant at 12 degrees
- Italic fonts of Intel One Mono slant at whopping 16 degrees
etc.
To be absolutely fair there is some italic monospace fonts with less slant but I only know just two:
- Italic fonts of Spline Sans Mono slant at 7 degrees
- Italic fonts of Twilio Sans Mono slant at 8 degrees
I've read some of the issues filed in this repository and I saw that the bold italic font is currently planned but not yet being created. Can I propose that when the bold italic font get created, it'd get created along with the modified italic font to make it more slant than it currently is?
