Atmospheric lighting tends to make the screen go so dark that my eyes have to adjust, but without it the shadows are just so jarring. It would be nice to have a scaling for the atmospheric lighting (not entirely sure what settings that adjusts) and the ability to just disable or scale down the intensity of shadows underground.
