I trying it here:

Scroll down and you can load a custom BIOS file. I tried:

• GLABIOS_0.2.5_8X.ROM
• GLABIOS_0.2.5_8T.ROM

I just get a blank screen. Interestingly there is some "bggggggggg" sound.

Maybe a VGA bios is not loaded, if a custom BIOS is provided.

Does v86 even implement compatible hardware?

It uses by default SeaBios 1.16.2. I use it to boot ELKS.

Hi @toncho11 I've tried that link but wasn't able to figure out how to get this working. Can we move this to a discussion so we can figure out if it's even compatible with an XT BIOS? If so, we can put it back later as a TODO item. Thx!
