A better control panel

• * not sure about sqrt transform: get use in generic regression-transform-sense, but low visual interpretability value? agree we can remove it
• * still mild preference for log2 scale; for readability, would put axis labels/tics at major orders of 10 that roughly correspond to orders of 2 (2^3 ~ 10^1, 2^10 ~ 10^3, etc), but have minor grid lines be doublings, and place a background annotation (like spanning line with arrows on the end, with a "2x difference" text next to it) agree on log2
• * ticking the median on/off changes the scale - that seems odd? _ I do not see that, @pearsonca share browser and url of page where this happens_
• * the panel viewport seems off; maybe bound by relevant 10^3 windows? e.g. latest flu should be 1K to 100K range idgt
• * Advanced Visualization Controls, maybe? (yes it's important)

Also @emprzy Emily's ideas:

• * past year trajectories plotted for comparison (this would ve very good)
• vintaging data also good, but also quite hard with current structure

re scale change: looking at flu forecasts, US level, log scaling - when i tick median on/off, the axes shift slightly

re viewport: the scale goes from 2x 10^2 to 8x 10^4, but there's nothing data-wise below 2x 10^3

re the label, I am suggesting that instead of "Advanced controls" as the label, I think "Advanced Visualization controls" or "Advanced Plotting controls" would better communicate what these entail. Though, if you're planning to add in a bunch of other control options that are more generic, "Advanced control" is probably fine for a label.

vintaging would be super hard i agree, but past trajectories would be easy! code for this pretty much already exists in FluPeakView.jsx.
