Found during a fresh-install walkthrough of 2.5.0-rc.5.
What happens
Entering a flight manually (Add flight → "Suche überspringen und manuell eingeben"), after picking two airports, this warning appears above the form:
Geschätzte Flugzeiten
Automatisch geschätzt basierend auf Boarding-Zeit und Flugdistanz.
Annahme: Abflug = Boarding + 30min, Flugdauer → 64 Minuten.
Bitte überprüfen und korrigieren Sie die Zeiten bei Bedarf.
No boarding pass was scanned and no boarding time was entered anywhere in this flow — there is no such field on the manual form. The estimate itself is fine (FRA→LHR ≈ 64 min is plausible, and telling the user it was estimated is right); the explanation belongs to the boarding-pass path.
Why it matters
The user is told the times were derived from an input they never gave. That either reads as a bug or sends them hunting for a boarding-time field to correct.
Steps to reproduce
- + Hinzufügen → Flug → Suche überspringen und manuell eingeben
- Pick departure and arrival airports.
- The warning appears, quoting "Boarding + 30min".
What should happen
On the manual path, explain the actual basis (flight distance / route), and keep the boarding-time wording for flights that really came from a boarding pass.
