Found during a fresh-install walkthrough of 2.5.0-rc.5.
What happens
Straight after the setup wizard, the user lands on the dashboard: an empty world map, a legend listing four data types they have none of (Flüge geflogen / geplant, Kreuzfahrten gefahren / geplant), and a generic + Hinzufügen button.
The page contains 297 characters of text in total, none of which tells a new user what to do next. No welcome, no "add your first flight", no mention of import.
Why it matters
The people this product is for usually arrive with years of travel history already recorded somewhere — a Flightradar24 export, a spreadsheet, a mailbox full of confirmations. The single most valuable action for them is import, and it is:
- never mentioned on the first screen,
- three clicks deep (Einstellungen → Import),
- not reachable from + Hinzufügen, which only offers Flug / Kreuzfahrt.
The one pointer that does exist is a transient banner reading "Der Flug-Import ist jetzt hier — unter Einstellungen → Import". That is migration copy: "jetzt hier" presumes the reader knew where it used to be. On a fresh install nobody does.
Suggested direction
An empty dashboard is an opportunity, not a failure state. Something like: a short line naming the two ways in (import an existing logbook, or add a flight by hand), with the import route linked directly. The banner could carry the same message without the "it moved" framing when there is no history to have moved from.
