Feature request: `charon version` should print commit ID

This would allow Hermes to programmatically verify – in a way more precise than relying on version number – that it is running in an environment with the correct, expected Charon version.

supposedly Charon's version is linked to the AST of the output JSON, whereas the commit is just the internal version, so a client can interact with any differently-hashed Charon version that has the same version number. why do you need to ensure the exact hash is the same, rather than just the version, if you dont mind me asking?
i guess we can add a charon version --hash or something anyways :)

I was about to say the same as @N1ark, especially so as Charon becomes more stable and stays compatible longer. If you want to pin an exact commit you of course can, but the version number is a guarantee of compatibility and is intended to be used as such.
