Adding videos to playlist - neither method seems to work in 4.1.0.beta12

When using the right click method - the list of possible playlists does not open

The screen recorder does not record a section that spans more than one display.

I don't know this can be fixed or worked around, or I am missing something?

Aerial in this iteration is even better than it was - which was the best.

Looks like I have a bug, is this 4.0 or 4.1 ? I'll have a look tomorrow and let you know.

I did find a bunch of issues, but I'm not sure I caught the exact ones you mentionned. One issue that is in your first screenshot that is fixed is that it says Add 2 videos while you only had one selected. In general it miscounted video selections.

I'm not able to reproduce the menu not showing from your first screenshot however, I tried creating 3 empty playlist just like you have, but somehow it always pops here. I'll still look at it a bit more.

Regarding your video, that's on me, the text is not very clear. You can drag a video from another view into there, not files from finder. I need to edit that text. What you can do in the meantime is drag your selection to the playlist title on the left menu, it should add correctly. I will have another beta later today with the current fixes but I'm still not 100% sure I got your bug right.

@lauramercedesryan-design if you see this, can you check quickly if the menu opens (or doesn't either) in the sidebar on a multiple selection ? If you can, try this (use a drag selection to multiple select, or shift + select, it's finder-ish) :

@lauramercedesryan-design I pushed beta13 with a bunch of the fixes I talked about, but I'm not 100% sure about the menu. However see the video below on how to workaround it if it still happens :
