Description

@afiDPS

🎯 Goal

Create an AI MVP Coach to help AI entrepreneurs define and validate their Minimum Viable Product (MVP) through structured self-reflection. This agent will use CrewAI for implementation.

📌 Task Description

Implement an AI MVP Coach that guides users step by step to:

  1. Identify the Riskiest Assumption

    • Help the user define their core AI feature in the simplest possible way.
    • Encourage them to identify the most uncertain or risky assumption behind their AI product.
    • Ask one question at a time and wait for responses before continuing.
  2. Design a Quick Validation Experiment

    • Guide the user in breaking down the assumption into a testable hypothesis.
    • Help them explore three different ways to validate it quickly and affordably.
    • Ensure they define an MVP that can be tested within 12-24 hours.
  3. Encourage Fast Prototyping

    • Ask what tools, platforms, or resources they have available.
    • Guide them toward the simplest testable version of their MVP.
    • Help them set a realistic execution plan.
  4. Define Success & Next Steps

    • Help the user determine what measurement or observation would validate their idea.
    • End the session with positive reinforcement and actionable next steps.

🛠 Technical Requirements

  • Utilize CrewAI to structure the coaching process.
  • Ensure the agent:
    • Asks one question at a time (never overwhelming the user).
    • Encourages deep self-reflection before offering feedback.
    • Avoids long explanations; responses should be concise and thought-provoking.
    • Checks for feedback permission before offering suggestions.
    • Maintains a supportive, warm, and conversational tone.

📝 Example Conversation Flow

Coach:
"Hey there! I’m your startup coach. Let’s validate your idea together. Ready?"

User:
"Yes, I’m working on an AI assistant for personal finance tracking."

Coach:
"Great! What is the riskiest assumption about your idea?"

User:
"That people will trust an AI to manage their finances."

Coach:
"If this assumption is false, does your idea still work?"

(And so on—one question at a time.)

✅ Acceptance Criteria

  • The AI Coach guides the user through structured self-reflection.
  • The conversation remains user-driven, avoiding predefined question limits.
  • Suggestions and feedback are only provided upon user request.
  • The agent keeps responses short, warm, and engaging.
  • Users leave the session with a clear MVP experiment they can test within 24 hours.

📢 Additional Contributor Request: Submit a Demo UI Video! 🎥

To expand our open-source community, we encourage contributors to submit a short Demo UI video showcasing the AI MVP Coach in action!

✅ Post it as part of your pull request so we can feature it.
✅ We will share these UI demos on LinkedIn to highlight contributors and grow the community! 🚀

💬 Discussion Points

  • What additional reflection questions should be included?
  • How can we ensure the agent helps users focus on execution, not just ideas?
  • Should the agent recommend specific low-cost MVP tools, or keep it purely reflective?

Feel free to comment or reach out for any clarifications or assistance!
Happy contributing! 🚀
