Hi, thanks for creating this plugin!

Very timely, I have some opencv c++ code that I was interested in running in a cross-platform mobile app. So, I was looking at nativescript.

What stage are you at in developing this plugin. Would you be able to help me get started?

I have some object detection code in opencv that I'd like to run from the device camera stream and then deal with the detected results.

Is this the kind of use case available for this add-on?

Hi @geoffbullen it depends on what you want to do. A few things to consider:

• not a lot of "filter" apis are implemented. But very easy to add them. Let me what you need (like a c++ code example)
• we might have a threading issue on android. Right now everything is run on the main thread on Android. Which means every opencv computation. This makes it impossible to have real time camera processing. it's explained in this issue using class extension makes the app hangs NativeScript/android#1143. iOS is working right in multi thread though.

@geoffbullen ok missing quite a few wrappings. Can't really do it right now. So either you can wait, or you can try and create a PR. Pretty simple to add wrappings actually
