I want to add the fossils from Fossils and Archeology to the extractinator, so I looked into making a datapack. But I can't seem to find any tutorial to actually make one of these datapacks as I am very unfamiliar with them and do not currently know how to make a datapack myself.

I would like some sort of tutorial, as I don't want to downgrade my version to pre-1.0.7.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Changing it back to config modification could also be a solution, but I understand if that is not possible.
