Feature Request: Integrated Thematic Index & Topic-Based Search

I would like to propose adding a Thematic Index feature to the search functionality. Currently, the search is limited to specific keywords or phrases. However, integrating a structured topical index—similar to the ones found at the end of many printed Quran translations—would significantly enhance the user experience.

This would allow users to explore verses organized by categories such as family rights, ethics, science and knowledge, or patience, even if those specific words aren't in the verse itself. Implementing this as a dedicated 'Browse by Topic' section within the search menu would transform the app from a simple reader into a powerful study tool.

The search results also include items from the topics withing the app. Is this what you were looking for?

Yes, I see that the app already has a basic topic search. However, my suggestion is to significantly expand the database. Currently, it only shows a few results (like the 3 items in your screenshot), whereas resources like SearchTruth provide hundreds of detailed categories. I am proposing a more comprehensive and structured index so users can find almost any subject, not just a few major ones.

The app had those topics 3 years ago. It was removed because it was too many. Will add it back InshaAllah.
