Bug description

Without tinker the trackpad acts as a smooth way to move the camera around in the editor, but when i enable the mod it makes it unusable. This also applies to the zoom.

In the screen recording, the first part is using the normal mouse to move the camera around, then the second part is using the trackpad to move the camera around, and the last part is using the trackpad to zoom in and out.

No, I disabled tinker, then it worked as it was before, then re-enabled it and got the same results.

You answered neither of my questions there somehow. I don't ask if it happens when you disable tinker. I asked if you have used tinker before, and if it worked on older versions if so.

Also do you have the smooth scroll mod? And do you have "delegate scroll to vanilla" enabled in tinker settings. If you have the smooth scroll mod, disable delegate scroll to vanilla.
