It seems to be based on LMDB, so I would guess this project would be a very effective one, hence my inquiry.

Hi,

The project is on hold. I'm working on a startup I created last year (Skriv − workflow-oriented project management software) and I don't have any time to work on FineDB.
I created ÅngströmDB, which is a very simple version of FineDB I used for a talk called «How to create a no-SQL database in one hour». You can take a look at it, but you shouldn't use it on production.

You mentioned that FineDB (and Amaury/AngstromDB) is based on LMDB.. so what's the edge on LMDB, why should I consider FineDB or Amaury/AngstromDB?
