"A budding alliance" not being tracked

The mastery trait from the kumari battlecruiser does not show up under incoming healing.

Can you tell me which log entries are for that trait (could not find anything in the log that I could clearly identify as being from that trait)?

Good question. I have no idea. It seems its just not in the log. Maybe its serverside? If so, it cant be tracked. Nothing we can do.

I cant confirm if its actually working. My two tank builds have other shield heals and the UI just doesnt tell me what heals my shields with multiple shield healing abilities.

Also I cant report it because Im not in the official STO discord. Maybe you can report it?

I grabbed the attached log and dug through it, and I'm pretty sure there's nothing we can do here on the parser side.

I searched the whole file for "Budding" / "Alliance" — zero hits. Every single shield heal in that log has a proper named source (Transfer Shield Strength, Overwhelm Emitters, Protomatter Regenerative Influx, Science Team, Shield Capacitor, etc.), and none of them are unnamed or generic. So the trait just isn't writing anything to the combat log.

What's interesting is that Energy Refrequencer — which does basically the same thing but for hull (heals you based on damage) — shows up fine, 390 heal ticks in this log. So the game does log some of these "damage → heal" effects, it just doesn't log this particular one. A Budding Alliance heals your shields for 45% of incoming energy-weapon damage, and that heal seems to be applied server-side without ever hitting the log. Which lines up with what @Zasz333 guessed earlier — it really does look serverside.

I also checked OSCR to see if they solve it somehow, but nope — no special handling for this trait, and their heal detection is basically the same as ours. If the data isn't in the log, there's nothing to read.

TL;DR: not a parser bug, the heal is missing from the log itself. Probably worth confirming with a Cryptic dev whether this is ever logged, but I don't think there's anything to fix on our end.
