It should be possible to revert distributed status in an open distribution

For an active distribution, it should be possible to revert a distributed item to the not distributed status. (In case someone marks the item as assigned by mistake.)

Currently there's no backend support for this.

Also need to be able to revert assigned QR codes.

Question 1: Who has permissions to do this?

There are some other slightly higher priority fixes at the moment, but hopefully they can get to this soon.
