Hey, I didn't try your WatchFace, but I'm also making a SmartStatus mod and I had the same crash issue. It looks like you have to unload the custom fonts or there will be memory leaks. I have had the same issue, and unloading them (along with some other memory improvements) have helped a lot.

Oops, I spoke too fast. I see you only use system fonts? You could also try to make sure you destroy all the layers in the correct order (if B is a child of A, delete B first)

Thanks Alexandre... I will give that a shot, but the crash on close seems completely random. Not sure if this scenario would present a random crash, but it's certainly wort a shot.
