I am able to repo the issue without ext as

• Run azd init
• Run azd env list
• ** No environment**
• Run azd init one more time

@wbreza - This seems like a regression as we are getting error from azdClient.Environment().GetCurrent(ctx, &azdext.EmptyRequest{}), when no environment is created.
earlier it was returning null, for now I fix the in finetuning ext by ignoring the error.
