Feature request
It would be useful to add some developer-oriented features to the Azuriom Marketplace, mainly around resource statistics and notifications.
1. Marketplace Statistics API
Provide an API endpoint that allows plugin and theme developers to retrieve statistics for their own Marketplace resources.
Authentication could reuse the existing Azuriom API Key system.
Possible data exposed by the API could include:
- Total downloads
- Total likes
- Downloads per version
- Download history over time
- Like history over time
- Current resource version
- Publication date
- Last update date
Access to detailed statistics could be restricted to resources owned by the authenticated developer.
Use cases
This would allow developers to:
- Build custom dashboards for their resources
- Display download and like counters on their own websites
- Track resource growth over time
- Measure adoption of new versions
- Integrate Marketplace statistics into external tools
2. Discord Webhook for new Marketplace resources
It would also be useful to support a configurable Discord webhook that is triggered whenever a new plugin or theme is published and approved in the Marketplace.
The webhook could send an embed containing information such as:
- Resource name
- Resource type (
Plugin or Theme)
- Author
- Short description
- Version
- Resource icon/image
- Link to the Marketplace page
For example, this could be used to automatically announce newly approved resources in an official Azuriom Discord channel.
Benefits
These features could improve the Marketplace experience for both developers and users:
- Developers would have better visibility into how their resources are performing.
- Resource statistics could be integrated into external websites and tools.
- New plugins and themes would receive more visibility.
- The community could easily keep track of newly published Marketplace resources.
