I think the volume control in the player controls the app volume instead of the system overall volume? (Might be wrong, could be my phone!)
Would be a great option to allow the user to flip between the two modes in settings as well as hiding the volume button if the user prefers to use only use the hardware buttons:
Setting could be something like: Player Volume Control
Options:
- System Volume
- App Volume
- Off (Not Shown)
