extensions disabled in acp sessions #10

Description

@minrk

Describe the bug

When launching biorouter acp, it appears that extensions are disabled and cannot be enabled. It is unclear if this is intentional.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. install extensions (even just the default extension-manager extension)
  2. launch biorouter acp from an acp-consuming client
  3. attempt to use or list available extensions/tools
  4. extensions are unavailable

Expected behavior

enabled extensions are available in acp sessions

Please provide the following information

  • OS & Arch: ubuntu 24.04
  • Interface: biorouter acp
  • Version: v1.87.1
  • Extensions enabled: extension manager, jupyter-server-mcp
  • Provider & Model: NRP - Qwen3, gemma

Additional context

Jupyter AI invokes things via ACP, so this is the interface we will use the most.
