Scrolling lag in editor when Explorer panel is open

Bug Description

When the Explorer panel is open, scrolling in the editor becomes laggy and stutters. Other panels (like Extensions) don't cause this issue.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Enable Smooth-Mode in extension settings
2. Open Explorer panel
3. Scroll in the editor - notice lag and stuttering
4. Switch to Extensions panel - scrolling works fine

Expected vs Actual Behavior

• Expected: Smooth scrolling in editor regardless of which panel is open
• Actual:
  • Extensions panel: Maybe slight lag (could be placebo) but usable
  • Explorer panel: Severe lag making editor scrolling basically unusable

Environment

• VSCode: 1.104.1
• OS: Windows 11 Pro

Notes

The lag happens even with VSCode's native smooth scrolling disabled, indicating it's the extension's Smooth-Mode causing the issue.
