Smooth Animations rarely works.

Idek how to explain this, I've had the smooth sidebar animations working, and then they just stop working. I've uninstalled, re-installed, followed the steps countless times, and they just do whatever they want. Same for the cursor. Seems like that'll work for longer, but sooner or later it just turns off... not the setting, its still enabled, but visually its just not there anymore.

I got you bro, I meet this problem every time I install a new version of VSCode.
Maybe try staying on a older version for a while?

I actually just made me own version lol. I let this extension handle the Command Palette, and other animations. While mine handles the smooth panel opening/closing, hover-over animations, and like one or two other things.
