If you are trying to see statelines and county lines at the same time the Bridges API does not allow this. It follows the lines around the states that are connected to each other but it will never create a line between them. If you iterate through the states and add their own border via Stroke Color it still does not work. However if a state is separated from the ones that are grouped then there is not an issue with setting stroke color. I will submit a photo that showcases this (disregard node points those are separate).
The USMAP would also benefit from the implementation of counties and stateliness simultaneously to better showcase the United States, and help students with visualization.
