Would it be possible to make a list of presets so that you don't have to press the arrow keys from 1 to, for example, 20?

The web config has direct preset selection, but I don't have that for the 4.3B at the moment.

Yes, exactly 4.3B. I miss the ability to directly select a specific preset, without having to skip through all of them. I know that in the web option it is like that, but maybe it would be possible to think of something on the device. Maybe put something like that in the configuration option. Even briefly, some pop-up table with numbers.

Yes I agree this would be a nice addition.
At the moment I am trying to migrate the UI to a new design program, due to reaching the limit for a free license on the current one.
I will look at doing this change as part of this.

+1 to this suggestion. I think it would really be useful to have the option to show all presets in a list on one screen, so you can quickly select the one you want (either on screen or via the footswitches)

• 2 new hardware platforms (1.9" LCDs)
• update to ESP IDF 5.4.1
• hopefully, support for the big Tonex pedal (its 75% working as of today)

I didn't want to make a new thread to ask a simple question. Is the device able to recall amp parameters from the T1 or just sends new one? My biggest gripe about the T1's UI is autosave. Does it do something to fix that problem?

Hi. The values shown on the interfaces are read from the current pedal values. If you change one, it is sent to the pedal.
The pedal still autosaves any changes. This part can't be fixed by oneone but IK Multimedia.

Thanks for the answer. Well, I hoped it can save the state of the parameters to recall them later, like on the big Tonex with simply reloading a preset.

There was a facebook user yesterday with the same complaint about autosave. I did have the idea of making a list of saved parameters, with a button to revert the changed values (or accept them and discard the list.)
That would emulate the manual save like the big Tonex.

I'm not sure if this might cause other issues, but I will think more about it

Not related to the first issue, but is it possible to completely turn off the leds of T1 while connected to the Controller?

The led colours are adjustable from the Tonex app, but I don't think the pedal allows them to be switched off.

And please, make an option to turn off the entire Tonex via WiFi somewhere, just like with a button on the device! :) I'm too old and too lazy to get up from the couch and go to the pedal to turn it off (I use one of the Tonex as a stompbox)

Yeah I'm sorry, support for the big Tonex pedal has turned out to be a big job affecting a lot of areas. I'm still working through the issues and trying to get it all done.
This change is quite small however, so I should be able to get it done fairly soon.

Yeah sorry. Its really close. I keep finding and fixing bugs. Found yesterday the screen on the new 3.5" platforms is freezing over time.
If I can't fix it soon I'll probably release a beta for the other platforms while I work on it.

No news so far, sorry. V2.0.3.2 has taken longer than hoped due mainly to some stability issues.
I believe its sorted now and I plan to do the final release soon.
After this I will be looking at the next features, I agree this would be a nice one to do, an not that difficult

I finally managed to try EEZ Studio and have started working on preset list for 4.3/3.5 UI on my branch, will do a PR in a few days.
I only have Tonex One and 4.3B platform, so I cannot test it for big Tonex and Valeton; the PR would require some additional testing on those before merging to main branch.

Another thing I'm working on: controller settings that are available only in WebUI.
Since making a mistake in WiFi settings could disable the user from connecting to WebUI entirely and require a full reset, I would like to add a screen to change them on the device. And for small screens maybe just "Reset wifi Settings" button.

However after adding a lot of new elements to the UI, sometimes there is a visual glitch, the rendered screen is shifted vertically and has some distortion on the left side.

I think there might be a race condition in the heap allocation of draw buffers.

These type of glitches have cost me many weeks of time. It happens as the 4.3B uses RGB mode, so the ESP32S3 has to refresh the entire display at 60 Hz. DMA is used, but if the processor is too busy to complete the DMA transfer quickly enough, then it gets glitches.

It's a balancing act of:

• LCD pixel cock. Lower clock gives more time but too low causes flicker
• front/back porch settings. Higher allows more time
• where in PSRAM the lcd buffers are located. The ESP32S3 seems to have some kind of banking system here, and some memory address ranges cause huge glitching. I have it allocating a chunk of dummy memory, then the draw buffers, and then freeing the dummy chunk to force the buffers away from the problem areas
• draw buffer size. Larger or smaller can help in seemingly unpredicable ways

The latest release has a lot of changes in these areas to get everything smooth across the 4.3B, 4.3" and 7" platforms.
I'd suggest making sure these changes are all pulled across.

I agree totally about some way of reseting WiFi settings, it does cause issues for some people.
