Hi. Sorry it took me a little while to respond. I'm getting so much contact from people. With the ESP boards, I've made a lot of work for myself already. Everytime I do a new feature, I have to test across lots of different devices with small diferences. Sometimes it takes longer to test all than itt does to code the feature. |

I mean ESP32 devices. I already bought some different ESP32 (but not only)
variations as I am going to build some different stuff, most musical 😇
I already have different waveshare devices you recommended, but also S3
minis, espresiff, but also some others like H2 or C6 (not to mention C3
which you already told are not capable of running the software...)
I can make a list of hardware I collected for testing and share with you.
If I can help in any way - adopting new hardware (other ESP32S3 from other
vendors or other versions), testing the code, designing 3D cases, dropping
some tutorials then or sth I am fully interested to help, as I would love
to get some skills in electronics and this kind of devices programming
after 15yrs of professional development in other (mostly web and mobile)
technologies 😅
I am pasionate about music (synths, drums and guitars) and creating stuff,
thats my main motivation to get into the builders land - to create my own
MIDI controllers and musical devices.
Besides I own some 3D printers and would love to fit those goodies into
nice boxes, so the community could have full fledged DIY project that looks
almost like of the shelf 🤓
Do you have any other way to communicate? Whatsapp? Telegram? Messenger?
Maybe we should get project's Slack or Discord? 😅

With regards to adding different types of devices, are you thinking
different ESP32-S3 boards? Or other types of hardware?

I really appreciate your work and I am a huge fan of the idea you started.
I would love to participate and help in contributing builds for different types of devices. I've already bought plenty of different items for testing with the project and maybe adding some support for them - that would be really awesome to cover more hardware specs for our community!
I would love to hear from you if you are interested in collaborating, I have also some ideas to expand the project and I would love to design 3D printable cases for different hardware setups. I own 3D printer, both Tonex Pedal and Tonex One, Chocolate and Chocolate Plus, but also some other goodies like expression pedal which I would really love to utilize with Tonex One as Amp Volume control for example.
Personally I am quite new to microchips, Arduino, ESPs etc, but I am developer with >15yr of experience in coding and nerding around different stuff ;)
If you are interested in some spare time collab then let me know!
