Some wifi issues using the waveshare esp32 s3 4.3B #459

Description

@zuppoii

Hi! I 'm very pleased with my brand new installed display. It makes the use of the tonex green limmited edition that I bougt at Thoman's so much more versatile and fit for changes 'on the fly' in a live setting! Lots of thanks for all the work that was put in with as a result such a broad spectrum of possible devices and options. Amazing! While the touchscreen does everything I 'm expecting it to do, I 'm having problems with the wifi AP connection and also getting the tonex.local page to show up.
I used three different devices to test. It's an W11 laptop, an android (non-rooted) Xiaomi Mi 9T (with standard version of android 11) and a non-rooted samsung s5e (also on android 11).

With the webconfiguration of the access point I'm on the standard settings that come with the firmware. I installed the latest version

Here is what I'm experiencing:

  • I can see the tonex config AP on all three devices and I'm able to login on it. But when I try to log in with a second device or log off on a connected device the wifi AP on the esp32 immediatly closes itself down.
  • Connecting regularly fails, as a result of witch I have to restart the display every time
  • On the W11 laptop, I can access the tonex.local page using chrome for instance. I 'm able to change every parameter that is provided. On the android devices I can't get to this page. Not in Chrome, nor in Firefox. Not in standard mode nor in 'private' mode or when having cleared the cache

Cheers!
Paul
