Changing Simulation Period during Simulation Execution

Would it be possible to change simulation period (TS) dynamically as the simulation is getting executed? For eample let us assume that we start a simulation for one hour (TS= 60 min). Half way through the simulation, the user decides to change the simultaion the total simulation time to another amount (e.g. TS=90 min). Is that possible? Your response is appreciated

BTW, I highly doubt it is possible to change TDS.config.tf in the executation of a TDS.run()
