• C++ Refactor

  ### Summary ---- I want to refactor this project from the Arduino dialect to a pure C or C++ implementation ### Background ---- I've encountered a variety of limitations due to expectations of the Arduino platform. I want to move away from it towards a ,platform-agnostic pure c++ implementation. Doing this will also allow me to to move away from the arduino hardware as well. ### Desired Impact ---- That I can successfully deploy this project * Without an arduino board * Without the arduino IDE * Without the arduino bootloader
