refactor: optimize table layouts to eliminate horizontal scrolling

Applied compact design to applicants and in-house tables:

**Applicants Table:**
- Reduced column widths (220px applicant, 140px position, etc.)
- Reduced padding: px-3 → px-2, py-3 → py-2
- Reduced font sizes: text-sm → text-xs, text-base → text-xs
- Smaller avatars: h-10 → h-8 (40px → 32px)
- Smaller icons and buttons throughout
- Shortened labels: "Position & Experience" → "Position", "Date Applied" → "Applied"
- Optimized date formats to shorter versions
- Added subtle row borders for better visual separation
- Fixed selection state reset after bulk actions

**In-House Table:**
- Applied similar compact styling across all columns
- Added specific column width classes to prevent clashing
- Reduced "Availability Status" → "Avail." to save space
- Compact NDA buttons: "Signature" → "Sig" in tight spaces
- Reduced page container padding: px-2 sm:px-4 md:px-6 lg:px-8
- Increased max-width: max-w-screen-xl → max-w-screen-2xl
- Portfolio link shortened to "Link"

**Fixes:**
- Row selection now properly resets after bulk actions
- NDA Status and Portfolio columns no longer clash
- Actions column sized appropriately without excess space
- Consistent table width across all applicant status tabs
