Hi, I'd like to work on this one.
Plan:

Add a .github/workflows/lint.yml workflow triggered on pull_request events.
Use the appropriate linter for the project's stack (e.g. clippy for Rust, eslint for JS/TS — will confirm based on repo).
Configure the job to fail (non-zero exit) on lint errors so it blocks merging via branch protection / required status checks.
Add lint output as inline PR annotations where supported, so errors are visible directly on the diff.
