Roadmap 2026 H2

Here is what we are planning for WinkTerm in the second half of 2026.

Short-term (v0.2.0)

• Kubectl agent tool - AI can run kubectl commands and analyze cluster state
• Docker agent tool - AI can manage Docker containers
• Better error handling - graceful failure modes in PTY sessions
• Unit test suite - pytest + coverage for backend

Medium-term (v0.3.0)

• Plugin system - community-contributed agent tools
• Session persistence - resume after browser refresh
• Multi-terminal tabs - multiple concurrent shell sessions
• macOS native packaging - .app bundle, Homebrew cask

Long-term (v1.0)

• Agent collaboration - multiple AI agents in the same session
• Visual agent tools - AI can create diagrams inline
• Natural language pipelines - describe a workflow, AI builds it
