[BUG] Bro Sorry to bother you, but I noticed something in version 5.5: the permanent island disappears when you lock and unlock the screen and doesn't reappear until you receive a notification. Thank you for your work.

Hello,
This is a bug caused by the OS. The permanent island logic was improved to only appear if there are no other islands. There's a bug on some devices that the unlock screen triggers an invisible island that makes the island not show until the OS has a new notification.
