Lic Pro Controller does not recognize left joystick being pressed right on retropie.

I am using retropie on a raspberry pi 5 and a pro controller with an device name of Lic Pro Controller.

However when I press right on the left joystick the input is not recognized at all.

My wired pro controller works fine.
