I have an APC Smart-UPS X 3000
with a network card.
I’m not very tech-savvy, and I was wondering if it’s possible to send commands to the UPS over the network, using SNMP v1 or v3, for example.
Currently, I have the UPS connected via the network to a Synology NAS that acts as a NUT server.
Proxmox periodically queries the NUT server with a script
192.168.2.250 is the Synology’s IP address.
I also have Nutify 2.0 (kudos!!!) installed on a VM with Docker in netclient mode.
I wanted to know if it’s possible to change the parameters of this UPS over the network (using the fantastic Nutify, of course). Things like battery.runtime.low, but also sending commands to run battery status tests or activate the bypass.
I know it’s much easier via USB, but I’d like to understand this part better.
Thank you, I hope I posted in the right place
