Reopening: Reporting - Add Last Week, Last Month, Last Year #86

Reopening #86 due to not being added in the 2.0 release

Hi there,

I know we already have the Date Range Funcation in Reporting, but if you could please add Last Week, Last Month, Last Year to the selection it would make viewing reports so much quicker.

Oh Awesome!

I'm using the amd64 version (Ubuntu 24.04 LTS), I've ran up a new environment with the beta channel, but I don't see a difference.

Unless there is a toggle I'm missing or something?

I've also noticed with this version when "Today" is selected in the Energy tab, it's really slow to load and pegs 1 CPU core to 100% for about 15-30 seconds then finally loads, while realtime is selected it this doesn't happen and I don't seem to notice it in the other tabs.

The other interesting thing is while it's stuck loading the CPU & Ram monitor is delayed in loading until the graphs have loaded (after the 15-30 sec window):

The device that is running this on isn't what I'd call fast... but I don't think this was happening to me in 1.7 or 2.0
The device is a NUC6CAYH J3455 with 8GB Ram

Please, I have created the 0.2.2 build.

Try one of these images and let me know if it fixes the issues you were experiencing. If the problem persists, please let me know so I can investigate further.

Version 0.2.2 is not backward compatible with previous releases.

The database must be recreated from scratch.

To avoid incompatible or dirty data, it is strongly recommended to start from a completely clean environment using a new empty folder.
Do not reuse files or data from older versions.

Hey Mate,

Thanks for the update. I’ve done a fresh install of the new testing build, and the buttons are there now.

I’ve realised I probably wasn’t specific enough in my original request. I asked for “Last Week / Last Month / Last Year”, but what I was actually trying to describe was rolling date ranges:

Last 7 days
Last 30 days
Last 12 months

So rather than the previous calendar week/month/year, I’m looking for the range to count backwards from the current date.

For example, if today is Wednesday, “Last 7 days” should include the previous 7 days up to today, rather than the previous Monday–Sunday calendar week.

Apologies for the mix up.

I've also noticed when I set the reporting to the different modes (including the date range mode) that the X axis in the reports stays as a time value, this makes it difficult to compare data across a week or longer, because the date portion isn’t visible on the graph. :(

Downloading the report as a .csv does show the dates, but not the times. This also happens when I filter for today or a single day.
