Infrared mode support

Hi
I have this project running with my camera (not classic A9 but i guess similar)

i did notice the original crappy app had night mode which turned on the infra-red , what would it take to add it ?
if you can give me a direction maybe i can add it myself , because looking at the code looked kind of cryptic without knowing the protocol

Can you send a photo of the camera? I had infrared support in this repo, but all the camera does is turn on the grayscale filter.

My cameras do not have IR LEDs on them, even if the app had a "night mode".

Thanks for the photo - I asked because I bought cameras with similar photos from Ali and they did not look like that.

There's a SendIRToggle function still in the codebase

You can add

s.send(SendIRToggle(s))

in https://github.com/DavidVentura/cam-reverse/blob/master/http_server.ts#L142 and it will probably work?

are we saying it does not support RTSP in any way ?
only their binary proprietary protocol ?

That's right. You could probably write an RTSP adapter for this server if you want this protocol.

I'm looking to show these in HA (or any app that support them which is not YsxLite) , i bought a bunch thinking to conceal them in all sort of thing in the house .not sure whats the best course of action.
They were not so cheap as the A9 - i paid 8$ for each .

Yes i wanted to , but the stream (even in your html page locally) is very laggy , and sometimes stuck (not sure if its the cam or the node server)
This is another issue i have - the cams disconnect from time to time, after timeout there is no stream from them anymore.

Another thing is i need some server to run this node code, (which i think cannot run in HA) , i saw your discussion with someone about the python lib he wrote (also device in HA) , but this didn't work for me.

Maybe your camera/firmware version supports RTSP! Try it out with ffmpeg orother players. My cameras don't support it.

if i remove the path webcam i get 404 - so i guess it does have something there

it's finding video and audio streams, but can't identify them. You will need to experimeny with format specifiers, probably it's mjpeg, 20/30fps and 640x480, but no way to tell
