Summary:
The main launcher toolbar is vertical when docked to the side of the main window. When dragged out to float as a separate window, Qt reorients it to horizontal. It can be re-docked horizontally or vertically, but cannot remain a vertical floating strip by default.
Expected:
If the launcher is vertical when undocked, the floating toolbar should remain vertical (narrow tall window). Users may resize it, but default floating orientation should preserve the vertical “launcher” feel.
Actual:
Floating the launcher always produces a horizontal toolbar window.
Notes:
• Likely fix: handle QToolBar::topLevelChanged(bool) and enforce setOrientation(Qt::Vertical) only when the toolbar is floating, letting QMainWindow manage orientation while docked.
