To determine whether trends in the annual peak-discharge data exist, a two-sided Kendall Tau trend test (Helsel and Hirsch, 1992) was done. The trend test was done with software called PeakFQ developed by the USGS to analyze peak-flow data (Flynn and others, 2006).
