Description
First of all, I would like to thank you for developing drawpen; it is truly a great tool. My suggestion is intended to make it even more usable.
I would like drawpen to be usable on a tablet (in my case, Linux) without a keyboard. Looking at similar tools (which unfortunately only work on Windows), such as gInk or ppInk, and also at how the screen annotator works in Zoom, this would essentially require adding two new buttons to the drawpen window:
- A button (called Pointer in ppInk) that keeps the drawpen window visible on the screen but, when activated, passes all input events through to other applications (i.e., temporarily disables screen annotation).
- A button to clear all annotations from the screen.
These two additions would make drawpen much more convenient to use in tablet-only workflows.
