Hey @mildfuzz, good question — and Starting Strength is a great fit for openGym. What works today: In the routine, open the exercise's settings and set Warm-up sets (up to 5). They'll be added before your work sets on every session. Each one closes half the gap to your work weight and rounds down to your plate increment. They don't count toward volume, PRs, or progression. You can also set a separate rest time for warm-ups. The catch: Planned warm-ups currently copy the rep count of your work sets. So with 3×5, you'd get 5, 5, 5 instead of 5, 3, 2. For now, you can tap the reps on a warm-up row during the session and change them to 3 and 2. It works, but the changes don't stick, so you'd have to do it every session. A proper per-warm-up rep scheme (e.g. 5, 3, 2, with percentages if you want them) is part of the smarter warm-up system tracked in #156. I'll link your use case there, because SS is exactly the kind of program it should handle out of the box. 💪 |

am I able to add more nuance to warm ups? I am looking for programming Starting Strength , and the warm up set reps follow a 5,3,2 pattern
