Issue of " had non-zero exit status" is popping up while installation

I am trying to install RClimDex on R version 3.6.2 (2019-12-12) and it is popping up this issue .packages("RClimDex-master.zip", repos = NULL, type = "source") :
installation of package ‘RClimDex-master.zip’ had non-zero exit status
how to solve this issue?

Install it over github.

You need to have the package devtools for that. Then install RClimDex with
install_github("ECCC-CDAS/RClimDex")

I got the same error also with install_github

You can use the devtools::install_github("ECCC-CDAS/RClimDex") to install it.

Hello guys who will have the same issue.

Based on what they said to do i did that:

install.packages("climdex.pcic")
install.packages("devtools")
install_github("ECCC-CDAS/RClimDex")

rclimdex.start()

The package is running fine

When I try to start RClimDex, this is the error popping up. How do i proceed ?
