[Bug] Cannot apply extra kernel cmdline

Description

Unable to get any kernel params to stick.

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. With the VM in a stopped state go to settings.
2. Scroll down and click show advanced to reveal the options
3. Append any kernel boot param in the text field
4. You don't even need to boot the VM to verify returning to the main menu and going back in
   and you will see anything you have entered is not listed anymore. Booting the VM
   to double check also concludes the entered params did not apply.

Expected Behavior

1. kernel boot params should save/stick
2. Kernel boot params should apply to VM at boot.

Actual Behavior

Any changes are not applied or saved.

Diagnostic Log

Required. Attach the log export from Settings → Diagnostics → Export Log.

The export already includes: app version, device info (model / Android version), settings, and full logcat.
