WeivData Re-write #102
Description
We are going to re-write this package to include the following features and change how package works internally, also provide better type support more similar to ORMs.
- Encryption and decryption of data on fly.
- Schema creation with type support.
- New and better documentation.
- Performance and speed optimizations.
- Upgrade to MongoDB v7.
and more...
We will change most of the things and create a much better database driver for Wix environment, with wix-data like syntax support. We will also add some new features of wix-data also here to provide similar or same features also in weiv-data package.
Our main goal for this rewrite is to create better documentation especially for low code users at Wix to more easily adapt features and integrate MongoDB with Wix. In the same time implement a better developer experience for advanced devs.
We are planning to include both written and video tutorials to documentation we will create.
We expect to finish this complete rewrite in 2026.
