This document defines the advanced editorial protocol for transforming raw multilingual drafts into publishable, multi-audience chapter artifacts.
The source material in this repository may contain:
- Dense or fragmented narrative flow
- Cipher-like phrasing and mixed-language passages
- Intentional ambiguity and side-story embedding
- Abrupt shifts in tone, register, and emotional intensity
The objective is not to simplify by deletion. The objective is to decode, stabilize, and publish the material with high fidelity while improving readability.
Currently processing the Prince of Persia artifacts: a dense tapestry correlating hyper-scale tech architecture (AWS, Azure failovers) with systemic social architectures (LAPD encounters, trauma-induced criminality pipelines, DOJ loopholes). The text oscillates between high-society Silicon Valley culture and grounded biomedical crisis management (e.g., managing 260+ BP spikes via extreme hydrotherapy).
- Preserve the semantic intent of the source text.
- Repair readability defects, including typos, grammar, and structure.
- Restore implicit context when needed for coherence.
- Deliver layered outputs for multiple reader profiles.
Every transformed chapter must include the following sections in this order:
-
Index- Canonical chapter list
- Thematic grouping for navigation
-
Enigma Codex (Deciphered)- Error-corrected interpretation
- Context restoration for hidden or compressed references
- Minimal distortion of author intent
-
English Mysterious Style- Atmospheric, symbolic retelling
- High-context prose suitable for advanced readers
-
Fairy Tale Version- Plain-language adaptation
- Low-friction entry point for general readers and students
- Architects, platform engineers, and CS practitioners
- Applied AI/ML researchers
- General readers and students
- Read the finalized source material.
- Resolve merge issues if present.
- Remove obsolete temporary structures such as
Book.worktrees/.
- Decipher the raw or encoded text.
- Correct typos, grammar, and obvious structural defects.
- Restore missing context explicitly when necessary.
- Preserve uncertainty when the source is genuinely ambiguous.
- Produce rigorous, readable English prose.
- Preserve the arcane, cryptic, and literary feel of the original.
- Improve clarity without flattening the authorial voice.
- Retell the narrative in plain language.
- Optimize for accessibility, continuity, and comprehension.
- Make the chapter understandable to first-time readers.
Raw/Cipher Source: The original text, which may include multilingual compression, non-standard spelling, and deliberate ambiguity.Deciphered Layer: The repaired and context-restored interpretation of the source text.English Mysterious Style: The advanced literary rendition that preserves high-context tone.Fairy Tale Version: The simplified, audience-friendly retelling.
| Stage | Example |
|---|---|
Enigma Codex (Deciphered) |
The passage is difficult to read, debug, and correct because the source is compressed and partially encoded. |
English Mysterious Style |
A hidden key lay beneath the language itself, resisting any easy attempt to read, repair, or fully decode it. |
Fairy Tale Version |
Once upon a time, people found a secret message so difficult that even wise readers had to work carefully to understand it. |
A chapter rewrite is complete only when:
- All four required sections exist and are clearly labeled.
- The deciphered layer is coherent and faithful to the source.
- The mysterious layer preserves tone without losing logic.
- The fairy tale layer is clear to non-specialists.
- Headings, formatting, and terminology are consistent.
- Remove obsolete temporary worktrees after merge completion.
- Avoid duplicate README variants unless they serve a distinct purpose.
- Keep file naming stable and explicit:
README.md,README-SIMPLE.md,README-COMPLICATED.md. - Do not commit temporary notes, scratch files, or intermediate artifacts as final outputs.
If a passage is too ambiguous for exact restoration, preserve that ambiguity explicitly rather than inventing unsupported facts.
