Shortcut for pasting links into selected text

Description

Currently there's no way to create linked text (ie, like this), usually created using [title](URL).

Suggested solution

Addition of a shortcut, say Mod + K, that turns the currently selected text into a link using the latest copied text available on the clipboard.
