Feature description

Encrypt items(pics/vids/folders) when the user chooses to lock items. Request a master password(or pattern/pin/biometrics, if there's a way to generate a immutable password from those)

Why do you want this feature?

It would provide more privacy and security and give the user the option to easily encrypt medias.

Just a suggestion if implementing encryption is considered outside the scope of this app, perhaps just importing the files into the app's internal storage would be a good middle ground.

Safe Space does just that, with the reasoning that the storage is already encrypted anyway: aashishksahu/SafeSpace#8

This way, the imported files will still be out of reach of other apps, its access still can be protected by password/pattern (already implemented in this app), and users who want or need any additional layer of encryption can use apps that are more focused in privacy, such as Valv, DroidFS (both all available on F-Droid), Lavender Photos, etc.
