Since the Legacy repo's implementation of 5.5e allows for disabling PHB14 or PHB24, LRRP should be updated to allow for complete character creation with just it enabled. These changes will effectively make LRRP its own ruleset separate from base 5e and 5.5e while also being fully compatible.
What this will require:
- Duplicate fighting styles and changing selections and supports, along with adding requirements to not allow for picking 5e or 5.5e versions of the fighting styles
- Duplicate individual weapons, armor, and gear that were also in PHB14. Proficiencies should not be duplicated since they're in ALE/Internals. Magic armor and weapons should support 5e, 5.5e, and LRRP versions.
- Make expertise selections proficiency selections instead. This will break characters, but it would be more inline with the Legacy repo when we get around to incorporating Partnered content into it.
- Add a note setter to the Source element that just says "The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying," similar to how D&D 5.5e sources are labelled in the Legacy repo.
Other issues that need to be addressed in LRRP:
- Races and Archetypes require trait and feature replacement grants
- A Feat Unlocker needs to be added, along with some sheet description fixes for some feats
Skill stat names should have "lrrp" added at the front of them, similar to the Skills in OTTG
- Append appropriate weapon proficiencies to respective group proficiencies
