sequence translation not visible anymore

I'm not sure when this started, but the base view no longer shows the translations. Please see this example from the JBrowse site.

I've also had this as a reported issue for our JBrowse instance too.

please indicate the version you are using, is it master branch? I have held off on releasing a official new version due to potential issues so thanks for the report

The linked example is from the webApollo demo site over at genome architect.io
It looks like it is

Yeah, it's an issue with the Apollo sequence track. I've transferred this issue to the Apollo repository.

This only happens when a user is looking at the public JBrowse associated with an Apollo instance. If you log in, the translation shows up.

This is happening because the Apollo sequence track tries to get the translation table for an organism to show the sequence translations, but if it's being viewed by a not-logged-in user, they have no permissions and can't get the translation table. This probably broke with the release of v2.8.0, which increased the strictness of the Apollo server's permissions for security reasons. I'll have to think about what can be done about this.
