Discussions seems disabled here. Is this repo still being maintained? I can understand how this would be a lot of work for the original dev, particularly given the rate of change in this field. If it is too much work to maintain for one person, would it be worth having a few people help in a limited manner?

this is being maintained. I've been collecting little QoL improvements as we go but nothing major thats necessitated an update quite yet. i may be slightly pre-occupied with a few projects but in general I plan to release an update once I've collected enough of an update.

Is there something in particular that is frustrating you or a feature you would like to see implemented?

@satoastshi seems like you understand coherence during different modes. Can you update the protocols? In order that by the time of the implementation it's planned everything to run in as parallel streams as possible using sub agents. So this saves a lot of context for debugging within the same session after implementation.

I tried to update messages of protocols, but didn't get any luck. It's still not listening to me. And during the task start I usually ask it to plan for parallel execution by sub agents and it does it well, but I wasn't able to figure out how to make it planned the same way by default.

If I understand you correctly, youre saying that you prefer to use many subagents in parallel to do work.

That is one way of doing things.

However, its not really my way of doing things.

And, sessions is my opinionated approach to Claude Code configuration.

That's not to say you can't do it, or that I dont encourage you to do it.

However, I won't be doing it.

@satoastshi one thing I've found that is extremely helpful is to seek alignment between Claude and the developer, but also at least one other AI in the CLI. I like to do this at two points in the dev process: the context gathering phase (run it by both me and Codex), and then again at the code review stage. I have found that Codex, in particular, is extremely adept at code review, finding some major issues that I (and Claude) miss. Calling this other agent at these two critical points has helped tremendously, and frequently identifies major errors. Does this mean I'm a bad code reviewer? Yeah. . Do I think I'm alone? No, there are many other schmucks like me installing this repo.

So I'd love to have the idea of out-of-the box alternate reviews of the task manifest and work product by another CLI AI. My preferred implementation here would honestly be to take your workflow (excellent) and abstract out which one is the boss, and which one is the reviewer. Due to the rapid pace of change/speed with which one model seems to leapfrog another every few weeks, it would be good to think of this as a general framework that can be applied on top of any of the major agents, as opposed to just "cc" sessions, and then to allow the user to determine who is boss in setup/config. This might be to big of a lift and/or it might be challenging to abstract out/apply these concepts to other AI agents due to differences in the way they work. But just having a supported/official way to call external reviews via other agents would be big. It's like having a team of engineers argue for a few hours...but instead it takes just a few minutes. Would be nice if it supported both subscriptions to these other agents (what I have) , as well as API-key based use.

I've been doing this manually, because I didn't know if there would be any major architectural changes to this code that would end up breaking stuff. If this is firmly outside the scope of what you intend/want, let me know and I'll fork/attempt to build this on top. If interested, I can work on it this week and try to put in a proposed PR.
